MAPA believes that effective communicative and performance skills are life enhancing, know no bounds and should be within reach of us all.

MAPA’s drama classes involve our speech and drama syllabus which is designed for students who want to develop their skills by engaging with variety of forms including monologues, poetry, prose and play extras in a range of styles from different periods, this also includes improv and so much more. 
  • Develop skills in speaking and understanding text and communication by bringing text to life through performance
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills through practical performance and ability to reflect on learning
  • Integrates study from wider subjects such as English language, literature and history.
  • Available from Initial to Grade 8 for solo exams, also group exams and pairs.
Learning and Employability skills  – a key component of 21st century skills – can be defined as the transferable skills that can have a positive impact in education and the workplace and these key skills are integrated into these specifications to help candidates develop on many levels.
